Acceptance of Clothing
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
NO DROP-OFFS DURING PAYOUT
Only those items in near-perfect condition (clean, no wrinkles, stains, odors etc.) will be accepted for consignment. Preferred items are high quality, brand names and should be currently fashionable or classic styles. Items not accepted for consignment will be donated to charity. 20 items or fewer are allowed each drop-off day. The Beehive does not accept lingerie, robes, bathing suits, windsuits, scrubs or costume jewelry.
Pricing Terms
Consignment arrangement is 60/40. Consignor will receive 40% of the sale of items. Items placed on the floor will be reduced after 30 days and 60 days and special sales will be held some days. Items will be removed from the sales floor after 90 days. Removed items are donated to charity or become property of the Beehive for serviced rendered. The only exception is furs. Unsold furs will be returned to the consignor. Charity receipts are available upon request. PAYMENT – There is no drop-off during payout. You are responsible for contacting the Beehive to inquire about your sales. Accounts are payable in cash the last five business days of January, March, May, July, September and November.
NO EXCEPTION TO THE ASSIGNED DATES WILL BE MADE.
A $1.00 handling fee will be charged for quarterly checks mailed to out-of-town consignors. Money not claimed within one year is forfeited.
